The Efco Efcolor Cool Enamelling System has been used for all the projects on this page. The arrival of this fabulous product means that anyone can enamel! You don't need a kiln or any expensive equipment like that - the powders can even be 'fired' in an ordinary domestic oven. But we would recommend that any serious crafter get hold of Efco's little tealight oven as it means you can enamel anywhere, anytime without the hassle of traipsing to and from your kitchen oven. It doesn't matter if you are a card maker, scrapbooker, jewellery maker or general crafter, we're sure you'll find a use for the delightful enamelled pieces.
The little tealight oven uses 3 tealights (not to be confused with night lights which don't create as much heat). It is light and portable. Place it on a secure, heat resistant surface (we used a couple of dinner mats on our craft table) and although they are very safe in their holders please remember it is never wise to either move them or walk away and leave them whilst alight.
